This beautiful antique Edwardian bracelet has been commissioned in 9ct gold and features a lovely curb link design. The clasp comes in the form of heart shaped padlock which has been engraved with a heart and flowing foliate motifs.
Heart padlocks were a popular motif in the Victorian era and were often gifted as a romantic token that symbolised that the recipient had full possession and access to the giver's heart.
It’s a fabulous antique treasure and complete with a safety chain and Birmingham hallmarks on the back of the padlock which date it 1907.
